First Title Company is one of the oldest Abstract and Title Insurance companies in the Concho Valley. Established in 1901, First Title Company was originally Adams Abstract Company. In 1978 Greg Gossett and George Harrison incorporated under the current name of Tom Green Title Company doing business as First Title Company. In subsequent years Mr. Gossett and Mr. Harrison have been joined by: Morris M. Reese, Jr., Clyde A. Wilson, Jr., Paul H. Millican, Paul Stipanovic. First Title's abstract and title plant dates back to sovereignty of the soil when the first deeds of conveyance were issued from the Republic or State of Texas. Currently the plant is updated daily into computer format. Our current facility is at 324 West Harris Street, conveniently located between Bryant Blvd North (Koenigheim Street) and Bryant Blvd South (Abe Street). First Title closes all types of real estate transactions representing four title insurance underwriters. The Four underwriters we represent are: First American Title Insurance, Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, Security Union Title Insurance, and Stewart Title Guaranty Company. The combined experience of the staff at First Title Company is more than 80 years! The knowledge, experience, and expertise of our company, in all areas , and our commitment to customer satisfaction, promises quality service whatever your title needs.
